PlanClipse is a planning tool plug-in to the eclipse IDE. It provides you with the abilty to produce plans for a project in the form of a Gantt chart. The current plug-in and it's source is available to download here.
System Requirements
The plug-in works in both Windows and Linux, it has been tested in Windows XP and SUSE Linux. The system requirements for the plug-in are below the requirements for eclipse, and thus, if eclipse runs, so will PlanClipse.
Installation
Before opening Eclipse IDE, copy the downloaded JAR file into the plug-ins directory of the eclipse location.

Open the IDE and the plug-in will be loaded along with all the other plug-ins. Once you have created your project for development of an application within eclipse, the time plan can be created.
To create a time plan.
Select File -> New -> Other -> ADEPT -> PlanClipse
Complete the wizard.
When the plug-in opens, (by opening a PLN file) The first tab of the editor contains a user guide. There is also a user guide available in the latest version
